Blasted Filch almost gave me detention today. I might have accidentally kicked Mrs Norris down a flight of stairs (Really, she almost tripped me down the same stairs!). He saw it, but luckily I was able to blend in with some third years. That cat will be the death of me. Now, how was everyone's break?

Dear Helga Hufflepuff,
I now realize why you chose a badger to represent us 'Puffs. Our skills at hiding out are quite fantastic. I don't think any other house could pretty much disappear into the library as well as 'Puffs. Well, maybe it's just the ability to disappear anywhere. I haven't seen a fellow fifth year member of my house outside of class in awhile now. It's actually kind of scary.

Alright, if this dance doesn't liven this place up, I don't know what will!

I'm pretty sure that Transfiguration might just kill me this year. One would think that turning a damn bird into a sewing needle is easy. Apparently I can't get it to stop chirping. There is something wrong with a needle that chirps while you're trying to sew a button onto a shirt. Then again, turning any animal into any object is wrong. I now know that I need a tutor if I'm going to survive.

On a lighter note! Good Luck to our dear Quidditch teams! I have a feeling it's going to be a brilliant game.
